School / Staff / Student / Parent Learning Compact

Dear Parents/Guardians/Students/Staff:

Effective schools are a result of families and school staff working together to ensure that children are successful in school.  A learning compact is an agreement among groups that firmly unites them.

The purpose of this compact is to foster the development of a school-parent relationship to help all children achieve the State’s high academic standards.  To this end, the school must address the importance of communication between parents and teachers on a continual basis through such efforts as parent-teacher conferences, frequent reports to parents on their child’s progress, and reasonable access to staff, opportunities to volunteer and participate in their child’s class, and pre-arranged observation of classroom activities, along with participating in our local school community organization, known as the PACSA (Bow Parent Academic Counsel of Student Achievement).

This is an invitation to be involved in a partnership with our school, Warren E. Bow Elementary/Middle School.  Together we can achieve so much more!
